Every decision, every day has a consequence. It may be good or bad, helpful or detrimental. You know the thing about decisions?
You always have a choice and YOU are the one that makes the decision.
Sometimes, those decisions are a result of reaction – we just go through our day and react to events around us, not giving too much thought to the decision. Other times, we are proactive, making decisions before something causes us to just react. Regardless, making a decision has the opportunity to change our life and the lives of those around us, either directly or indirectly.
Decisions make a difference.
Recently, I was at dinner with friends and we were discussing how everyone has a story. During this conversation, I commented that I would love to talk to people, to hear their story and then put them all together in a book of stories. This idea is not a brand new concept, but I do believe that there cannot be enough books written about people’s stories.
The thing that fascinates me is that most often, it was one decision that made a big difference in their lives. One decision is the beginning of their story. So – I want to know your story and I want to share it on this blog. You can either write it yourself ( 500 words ) or I can interview you and I’ll write it for you. The “qualifications” to share you story are just these:
What decision did you make?
How has that made a difference in your life and the lives of those around you?
But, its more than just answering those two questions – I want to know about YOU and your life too.
I want to know your story…
In the meantime, what are you going to do today that will make a difference?
