What can you do with $5?
Perhaps, not much but if you and other people all join together, you can help me raise money for Canines for Service!
3/21 Update: $60 in cash donations + $160 online = $220 raised.
Please donate $5 TODAY and help us reach the goal of $5,000!!!
FUNDRAISING ENDS 3/24/18!!!
During the month of March, I have established a fundraising team for the Canines for Service
Walk for Those Who Can’t.
From the Canines for Service website: This annual fundraiser benefiting Canines for Service and its programs is a chance for people in our community to come together for a fun filled day.
I was introduced to Canines for Service over 15 years ago and have been a supporter/volunteer ever since! In fact, we sponsor a Service Dog in Training each month! These fully trained dogs are given to qualified recipients FREE of charge – the Walk is one of the major fundraisers of the year and the money raised will go to support the mission of Canines for Service.
This is Service Dog in Training Dusty!
Dusty was rescued from a shelter and is currently in training to became a service dog!
We sponsor Dusty as we have done with other dogs like Benjamin and Zoar.
SD Benjamin and Andrew
SD Zoar and Wayne
From a personal perspective –
We invest in Canines for Service by financially supporting them because I know the stories. The stories from people who have received these service dogs and the improvement it has made in their lives –
*Veterans telling me that the first night they had the service dog was the first night they had slept through the night in years.
*Veterans who have a sense of independence back that they lost when they were injured.
*Civilians who no longer have to rely on a family member to help them with the tasks that the service dog is trained to do.
These and countless other stories is why we support CFS and I am asking you to do the same –
My fundraising goal is $5,000 and that might seem like a crazy, big goal – but I know it can be done if 1,000 people each donate $5.
Of course, you can donate more if you are able – but you need to hurry because the fundraising campaign ends March 23rd!
Then, please share with your family, friends and networks.
Please help me help Canines for Service continue their mission –
